This policy explains what personal information HostDex collects, why we hold it, and how long we keep it. HostDex is operated by Qavex Technologies Private Limited.

These terms are a working draft published for transparency while HostDex is in development. They are pending professional legal review and may change before services become generally available. They do not constitute a claim of any licence, certification or regulatory approval.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number and, where applicable, company details.
- Verification information required to establish who is using a service.
- Service information: the services you order, their configuration and the network addresses allocated to them.
- Billing information: transactions, invoices and payment references. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
- Technical information: access logs, request records and security events.
Why we hold it
- To provide, configure and support the services you order.
- To bill you and maintain accounting records.
- To protect our platform and our customers from abuse and security threats.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations that apply to infrastructure providers.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations. Some records — including subscriber details and records of network addresses allocated to a customer — are subject to statutory retention requirements that apply to infrastructure providers, and are retained for the period the law requires even after a service is cancelled.
The exact retention periods applicable to HostDex are being confirmed with professional advice and will be stated here.
Sharing
- With infrastructure providers, to the minimum extent needed to provide a service you have ordered.
- With payment providers, to process transactions.
- Where required by law, or in response to a lawful request from a competent authority.
- We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Where a statutory retention obligation applies, we will explain what we must keep and why, and we will delete what is not required.
Security
Access to personal information is restricted, credentials are held in a secret management system, and access to customer data is recorded in an audit trail.
